What about ... Me-e-e-e-e?!?

That plaintive cry from High Commander Dick Solomon in Third Rock From The Sun wells up in all of us from time to time (or maybe it's just me).

Right now I'm a TV scriptwriter in Sydney, I have become an apartment living advice columnist in the Sydney Morning Herald and I write occasional travel and humour pieces for whatever publication will take them.

Needless to say, there's a novel in the works, but it has to take a back seat to paid work and stuffing around on this website ... and feeding the cats ... and cooking curries ... and drinking coffee with my amazing wife ... and playing stupid computer games in which I get to sneak up on people and kill them ... and watching football ... and going to the gym ... and watching Third Rock on DVD ... and playing golf with Kenny.

Let's face it, the novel has a snowball's chance of ever being written.
